Domo Japanese Steak House in Fleming Island

I would give this place a zero if possible the food was horrible burnt and salty. We had a horrible server who we only seen once we waited over an hour for our food. Then we got charged 18% gratuity for 2 seperate parties. Its not wirth $40 a person. Save your money and go elsewhere

I don't usually leave reviews but his place is disgusting. There were bugs on the inside windows all over. We waited an hour after being seated before anyone even came and spoke to us (not even water in that time), and all of our food was cold when we got it, and my chicken tasted like freezer burn. Seriously just save the time and money and go somewhere else.

Our waitress took our order for hibachi at 5:25pm, they brougjt us our clear soup and salad, 6:10 pm still no food. Another family was then sat at our table, still no food. When she came back with their soup I asked how much longer and was told at least 15 more minutes until the chef comes out. At this point my 7 yr. old who is starving wants to leave. I asked if we could get a table if that would be quicker and was told sorry that orders to go come first. Being civil I asked for a check for what we had- 2 drinks and clear soup, the check she brought was for $15.00. Never!

Nice staff. Chefs are funny and entertaining. Great atmosphere. The hibachi is great and tasty as well as the sushi. Great for a nice dinner out or a quick bite at the sushi bar.

The food here is amazing, everything cooked to perfection. The hibachi was dun to watch too! The staff is very friendly, and it has a nice atmosphere, they also have a little Sushi bar area where you can sit if you want something a bit more quite and personal

Had an amazing time with tons of excitement. Our cook (Jessie) was extremely inviting and congenital. Food had amazing flavor. Will definitely be coming back and spreading the word. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience or food. Can’t wait for next time.

Best hibatchi around, by far

The family and I go here for every birthday celebration. They do have heavy turn over. I miss some of the older seasoned grill chefs. The flavor of the food at the grill is awesome.

I really used to love this place. Eating at the grill is still a great experience, but eating from the regular menu at the back, not so much. My shrimp and scallops have been chewy, and there is a lot less food. Go to the grill side for better food.

A few too many people for my liking

Had a birthday to celebrate and since Domo offers a free dinner to the person celebrating that day our group of 5 made reservations and arrived at 5 pm and seated right away. Drink orders were taken as well as dinner orders. Why 4 🌟? Let's start with the soup...very little of it and warm not hot. Salad...hand full of lettuce only. Now the show was excellent with plenty of action and excitement for our granddaughter. Food was good but needs more vegetables as opposed to all that rice and noodles. Steak was cooked to desired rare as was seafood items. Overall I cannot go 5 🌟 but it was close and with a few improvements could climb that final hill.

Food was decent. Service was pretty bad. I didn't catch the young ladies name but she wears her hair in Princess Leia buns. Portion size on the dinner for 2 was less than I expected but the food had good flavor. Rating would've been higher but the service wasn't so good. Didn't see her for quite a while. Had to wait on boxes and the check.

Ordered 2 To Go meals This afternoon. Tasted like rice, veggies were cooked hours ago. Not very good for the price

Amazing cook, amazing food full of flavor, one of the best places I've ever been. Fun and full of adventure. Extremely friendly, couldn't of asked for a better experience.

This place has the best long island ice teas ANYWHERE!! They are very friendly, funny and greet us with smiles every time we come in. One of my favorite date nights with my love. It's our favorite spot to get sushi!!

Owner was VERY rude, found 3 beard or PUBIC hairs in my food. And then when i got another plate, it was not even good. Nobody enjoyed eating here. Save your time and money.

Love the food here but the owner is rude! Went in with a group and she took our table..along with ALL of the other big parties so she could give below average service and charge gratuity. The other servers were given smaller groups and gave better service. If you go here for a birthday dinner...better have Id and birth certificate! Prices have gone up and the amount of food has gone down as well!

Had to wait an hour. Food was ok but when you ask for medium well stake I shouldnt be able to see it get up and walk away. It was just looking blood gross

Service is very good. You get plenty of food to eat but food flavors could be stronger.

Always a treat and there will definitely be leftovers - just make sure your pocket book can handle the hit.

It was perfect. Proper social distancing - at hibachi. Way to go. We had egg roll, he threw egg up in the air a few times and caught it without breaking it. He did volcano thing, choo choo thing, and remembered that I like white rice which because of social distancing, I was unable to project my pretentiousness by eating it with chopsticks. (They call me the 'White Asian') I kissed my girlfriend a bunch while the drunk people across from us made polite, but akward comments about the cooking. Thank you to the chef for not having everyone hold their mouths open and catch shrimp as it's slightly degrading. (mostly) I'm glad we ordered lobster because I haven't had it in a long time and I can't stand the 'germ lobster' in Orange park. Way to go Fleming Island and thank you for keeping Domo around and as nice as it always has been.

Very very busy night. Apparently had staffing issues. Very long wait for our food and it was not hot. However the service we received was extremely excellent and made up for everything else. Very sure this was just a difficult night for them. Will definitely go and give it another chance.

Horrible experience!!! We came in with our two children (one 2 year old and one 10 years old) and two of our daughters friends.The server refused to let our daughter And her friends (the 10 year olds) to order from the kids menu because she said they all looked older than 10 and said we should bring their birth certificates next time. I pointed out that no where on the menu did it say they had to be 10 or younger to order from the kids menu and for her to say my daughter was not 10 years old baffled me. Then I asked to speak to a manager, who was also rude, said sorry but that was their policy. The food was not great either. Definitely will not coming back!!!!

Was pretty good but I think very over priced and 10 extra bucks to share a entrée, I only eat 5 bites and always share because hate to waste food.

i worked there for 4 hours and walked out after seeing roaches in the bowls that they use for soup. never even got paid for what i worked

First time I went, the owner started screaming at me. the food was also kind of bad ngl. I wanted to give them another shot so I showed up again next week but the SAME THING HAPPENED. I swear I've done nothing wrong, I was just hungry and desperate but I've been let down. sorry.

We always enjoy eating here for a birthday meal. If you buy two meals at regular price you can get your meal for free in your birthday (be prepared to show your ID!). Filet and Chicken were awesome...great fried rice. Tommy was our chef, he did a wonderful job!

First time here. Went on a Sunday evening with a party of 7 and sat at a hibachi table. The chef was great and very interactive. Service was decent and the food was awesome. I took my wife, four of our kids (ranging in age from 8-21) and one of their fiancees for my wife's birthday, everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food (all different dishes) and the sushi is good too. A couple of quick notes, they will ask for ID to prove it is your actual birthday and they add an 18% gratuity to the bill for larger parties.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!! Had a reservation and others wothout a reservation were seated before us. We kept asking the manager and were given lies as excuses. Service was ultra slow, chef was horrible, got many orders wrong and steak tasted horrid. Then the bill was completely wrong, were charged an automatic tip when we were only a party of 2. Then they charged us for the tip anyway then couldn't figure out how to fix the charge. All the while management was very rude and unhelpful. DO NOT GO TO DOMO TO EAT EVER!!!!

There was no wait time for a table. The food was great. The customer service is pretty good. The chef was great at entertaining and servicing the table.

The Chef we had did a outstanding performance, very pleasant experience with his wit and humor as well as his skill set. I was there with 6 family members and were joined by another family of 4 celebrating a daughter's birthday. We all hit it off great exchanging pleasantries, family pictures and stories. Overall a great experience for about 2 hours or so. Loved it will definitely return
